Fairview Newborn Photographer

I had so much fun with Blake and his sweet family! He had the perfect little face with such cute cheeks! As a Fairview Newborn Photographer, I sure am lucky with all these beautiful clients I work with! Sometimes, it can be a bit tough to photograph newborns with young siblings. Check out my tips below for making the most of your session!

Tips on Getting Sibling Shots

When photographing newborn and sibling shots, the most important thing is to do is to remain calm. Kids can always sense stress. Find out ahead of time some things that the kids love to laugh at-and use it! It’s usually best to have the oldest sibling in charge of holding the baby-it makes things easier. I always have parents nearby just in case, too. Another tip is to have an idea of what pose you want to do before setting it up. Some kids will only give seconds before being done. So, if you are sure of what you want to do before hand, you can usually get the photo quickly. Lastly, it’s important to just have fun! Kids love to have fun, and if they see you having fun, their smiles will come easily.

I definitely had tons of favorites from our session together. My favorites were of sweet little Blake in what is known as “the froggy pose”. He especially looked adorable in his striped hat! He had the perfect little face, and has such a loving and beautiful family! I am super excited to edit the rest of their full session! I hope you enjoy their sneak peek!
