Kate | Nashville Newborn

“Peanut” is such a common nickname for babies, but for teeny tiny Kate, I couldn’t help but think of her as just that- a little peanut.  I think this sweet girl was just at about 5 lbs the first time she came to see me.  She liked being wrapped up, swaddled, curled in a ball, and left alone (lol) or left to nurse!  She was a very hungry girl.  We gave it a good go, but this sweet girl just couldn’t get full and settled enough for us to get in a good groove.  After a while we decided to have her come back on a different day to finish up her session.  It doesn’t happen often, but sometimes you just have to go this route.  I have to say- she came back a different baby!  Mom and dad got a little bit of help and she gained a whole pound in a week!  It’s amazing the difference one pound will make (ladies- remember this when you’re giving yourself a hard time on the scale) 🙂  Between the two sessions, we got LOTS of great images.  I had a hard time narrowing it down!  Here are some of my favorites of this pretty peanut:
